The limited liability company Ducamp-Monod & Partners (« SELARL DUCAMP-MONOD et Associés ») Notary Office guarantees respect for its clients, partners, and contacts’ privacy and protection of personal data collected within the framework of the Office’s activity. We apply a data processing policy that complies with the regulations in force.
The current regulations result from the European General Data Protection Regulation n°2016/679 of 27 April 2016 and from the French Data Protection and Civil Liberties Act of 6 January 1978 as amended.
The purpose of this policy is to provide information to the persons concerned on how the Notary Office collects, stores, and uses their personal data. It also informs said persons of the means available to them to control this usage and to exercise their rights of access and rectification.

 

Definitions

Personal data: any information about an identified individual, or a person directly or indirectly identifiable (hereinafter , « data » ou « personal data »).

Processing of personal data: any operation relating to personal data such as collection, recording, retrieval, modification, etc. (hereinafter, « processing » , « processing of personal data).

Data subjects: any natural person whose personal data is processed (hereinafter, « you »,« your », or « data subject ».

Data controller: the natural person or partnership or corporation who determines the purpose and the means of the processing.

Data Protection Officer: a person appointed by the data controller to monitor compliance with the regulations, to answer questions relating to the rights of the persons concerned, and to cooperate with the French Data Protection Authority (Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des libertés, CNIL).

Purpose of personal data processing operations

Your personal data are processed within the framework of the activity of the Notary Office:

As personal data is confidential, only duly authorised members of the Firm or persons duly authorised by the Firm may access it, without prejudice to their possible transmission to the authorities in charge of a control or inspection mission in accordance with the regulations, as well as to its communication to all authorised third parties.

Personal data is not transferred to any country outside the European Union.
However, the data required to compile statistics and measure the site’s audience may be processed outside the EU, per the data management policy established by the manager of each website publisher.

 

Duration of storage of personal data

Personal Data is kept for the time necessary to achieve the purposes pursued, subject to the legal possibilities of archiving, of obligations to keep certain data, and/or of anonymisation.

Right to rectify and delete Personal Data

The regulations allow you to request access, rectification, updating, blocking or deletion of personal data concerning you that may be inaccurate, erroneous, incomplete or obsolete.

In addition, you may define general and specific directives concerning the disposition of your personal data after your death. Where applicable, the heirs of a deceased person may request that the relative’s death be taken into account and/or that the necessary updates be made.
